We found out towards the end of our week that the hotel was closing for their end of season which explains the lack of entertainment etc. We caught the bus into Salou but decided to walk on the second visit which was only 30 mins and it was a really pleasant route. The pool attendant deserves a special mention for his hard work together with the bar staff. The evening meals unfortunately were not great, I am a vegetarian and found little choice so had salad most evenings. Breakfast was definitely the best for choice, we had read there were issues with lack of plates but we never experienced any problems. Having read a number of reviews, we were slightly worried but apart from the food, and lack of evening entertainment for the last 2 nights, we had a lovely, relaxing time. We arrived late evening and were greeted by friendly reception staff and were pleasantly surprised by the size of our room (133).
First impressions, the hotel was beautifully presented, very clean and tidy. We have just returned from 5 nights at the Cala Font Hotel. Don't hire a expensive sunbed if not need, just the rocky sides of the bays to sit or put your towel down in front and use it as a back rest 👌 … Lovely bays at hotel and serval around to choose from if one is too busy for people liking. We also walked along the road to la Pineda. Teeth on edge 😂🙄 Lovely walk from cap salou around to salou. But watch out if you go for the pafiterolls as most were still frozen and once its in your mouth is when you'll find out. However nothing was impressive just average and you had to wonder if you was actually eating what the label said 😂 Dessert. Or make himself a sandwich with hard bread. I have no idea what the scrambled eggs were never eaten anything like it 🤦♂️😢 my partner being bulgarian doesn't like the 'English breakfast' so had to have dry pastries.

However this didn't really bother us as if your on holiday and watching lots of TV your not having a good holiday we were always out enjoying sunny Spain 👌 Food: Breakfast was same every day.
